SA: XMas-Cup 2007

Am 20. Dezember 2007 startet der XMas-Cup 2007

Wir haben den Starttermin vorverlegt, weil die Liga seit diesen Mittwoch pausiert und so vor dem Ligastart genügend Zeit zum trainieren bleibt. Der Cup endet am 2. Januar 2008.
Die Regeln

Eine Registrierung ist nicht notwendig. Jeder kann mitmachen. Es wird keine Startgebühr erhoben. Für die besten 10 Player gibt wieder Coppers zu gewinnen. (5000, 3000, 2000, 1000, 800, 600, 500, 400, 300, 200)

Es werden insgesamt 14 Maps gefahren, wahrscheinlich 2 Maps von jeder Umgebung. Das steht aber noch nicht endgültig fest. Die Maps werden eine Mischung aus Speed und Tech sein. Welche Maps gefahren werden wird vorher nicht bekannt gegeben. Wir starten am 1. Tag mit 3 Maps. Jeden Tag kommt eine neue Map hinzu. Die Maps bleiben dann bis zum Ende des Events online.

Am Schluß werden die Zeiten aller 14 Maps addiert. Fährt ein Player eine Map nicht, wird die doppelte Authorzeit zu Grunde gelegt. Alle Bestzeiten fließen gleich nachdem sie gefahren wurden, in die Wertung ein und werden hier umgehend angezeigt.

Das leidige Thema Cuts wird diesmal hoffentlich aussen vor bleiben. Sollte trotzdem eine Map mit Cut dabei sein, muss diese im Forum gemeldet werden. Wir entscheiden dann, ob die Map ersetzt oder der Cut veröffentlich wird. Werden Player dabei erwischt, dass sie einen Cut benutzen und diesen nach angemessener Zeit nicht veröffentlichen, erfolgt der Ausschluß vom Cup.

Die Maps müssen in der vorsehenen Reihenfolge der Checkpoints gefahren werden. Ausserdem müssen alle CPs in der richtigen Richtung durchfahren werden.

Es werden immer genügend Server online sein, sodass jeder die Chance hat, einen freien Platz zum Fahren zu finden.

De sorte à ne pas empièter sur les tournois des ligues, nous organisons cette petite Cup du 20 décembre 2007 jusqu’au 2 janvier 2008.
Les règles :

Aucune registration n’est nécessaire, tout le monde peut participer comme bon lui semble ^^. Pour les dix meilleurs joueurs, des ptits lots de coppers J Respectivement (5000, 3000, 2000, 1000, 800, 600, 500, 400, 300, 200)

14 maps seront roulées en tout, vraisemblablement 2 de chaque enviro (Ce n’est pas encore définitif). Les maps choisies varieront entre speed et tech, la liste des maps ne sera pas transmise à l’avance pour raison d’équité J. Au premier jour, 3 maps seront roulables sur les serveurs, et jour après jour une autre sera rajoutée. Ensuite toutes les maps seront dispo en même temps sur le serveur.

A la fin de la Xmas-Cup, les meilleurs temps roulés sur chacune des maps seront additionnés . si un joueur venait à ne pas rouler une map, ce sera la double du temps auteur qui sera additionné à ces autres temps. Tous les meilleurs temps roulés seront de suite enregistrés et visualisables sur le site http://www.speeedaddicts.com/ .

En ce qui concerne les cuts, ils ne sont évidement pas admis, et les maps devront être roulées dans le sens « normal », c'est-à-dire que les CP devront être franchis dans l’ordre (mhmm mesure anti-cut :p). Nous choisirons des maps à priori sans cut, mais si d’aventure vous veniez à en découvrir un veuillez en faire part dans le forum de tel sorte à ce que le fair-play soit le mot d’ordre de cette Cup J.

Enfin, il y aura toujours assez de serveur à disposition pour que nimporte qui puisse roule quand bon lui semble ^^.

We moved up the starting date because the league has been on time-out since this Wednesday and thus there will be enough time left to train properly. The Cup will end on January 2nd, 2008.
The rules

No registration fee is required, everybody can take part. No starting fee will be charged. For the ten best players there will once again be coppers to be won (5000, 3000, 2000, 1000, 800, 600, 500, 400, 300, 200).

All in all 14 tracks will be driven, most likely two each for every environment – though the decision on that is not final yet.

The tracks will be a mixture of both speed and tech. The tracks driven will not be preannounced. We will start with three tracks on the first day. Every day another track will be added. The tracks will remain online until the end of the event.

In the end the times of all 14 tracks will be added up. If a driver does not drive a track, that time will be set at twice the author’s time. The personal bests will enter the scoring immediately after having been driven and will be displayed here right away.

The tiresome topic of ‘cuts’ will hopefully not be an issue this time around. Nonetheless, should a cut be discovered on a track, that cut has to be reported in the forum. We will then decide whether the track will be replaced or the cut will be publicized. If players are caught using a cut without making it public after a reasonable amount of time, they will be excluded from the Cup.

The tracks have to be driven in the planned order of checkpoints. Apart from that all the checkpoints have to be passed in the appropriate direction.

There will always be enough serves online so that everybody will have the chance to find an empty slot to drive in.
